Here is our contribution to Obama's re-election. "Dotted Line" is a clear political statement about Grover Norquist's tax pledge. "Like so many others signing the pledge, never realized he stepped over the edge. Just a simple contract No Taxes to Raise, but a devilish one took one more soul away".

Looking back at the Presidential primaries, I am reminded of the substandard contenders who’d been programmed with artificial stupidity. Perhaps, with the exception of our barony of American billionaires buying the power to crown a stooge, no legally sane citizen could ever have imagined any one of these candidates boarding an on demand flight on Air Force One.
So why did the Republican aparat send in the clowns, if only quietly acknowledge their candidacy? The strategy seemed clear: better to sacrifice a losing team to a popular incumbent – and wait to throw in your best hat in 2016.
But this playbook was as dicey as the one confected in 2007. Terrified that the odds-on favorite Hillary would win the primary, the GOP strategists brazenly supported Obama, mainly because they were as certain as Tuesday follows Monday that a black Presidential candidate could never ascend beyond head chef in the White House. This idiocy went so far as to have local GOP headquarters issue Obama T shirts to life-long Republican voters. Oh, yea--I was there.
There are times when Fortune smiles and long shots win; and Romney could speciously argue his way into the White House. How do you stop a salesman who can sell a neo-Nazi a circumcision knife?

To the Cycle Democrats.
The definition of a Assault Rifle is one that has a removable magazine, among other criteria. The 30 round clip can be discharged and another loaded in 2 seconds.
When the Republican member stops you and challenges the "scary term and words ", you need to actually know what an Assault Rifle is. An AR 15 is an exact duplicate of the Military M-4 and M-16. There are several "variations" but they all fire a 223 round (.556 caliber). ALL 223 rounds fired from an M16 (etc) are designed to tumble in flight so when the target is struck the round will cause maximum damage. I've seen men hit in the upper thigh and had the round exit their lower back. They are specifically designed to incapacitate an enemy so you don't have to waste ammo in combat.
A AR-15 fires the 223 round in excess of 3000 feet per second, far faster than any hunting Rifle. That is how the Rifleing is able to tumble the round.
Get your facts straight so you can actually, effectively debate the lies from the Right including your co-host who obviously has the talking points from the NRA. You can see her "throw out the BS talking point and move back in a defensive position to see if you have any idea what you are talking about. You don't.
Get informed so we can talk directly to the NRA and their paid talking heads.
