Below you can find Touré's recap of The Cycle's first week where nothing was off limits during the hour. We also created a top 7 list for Luke Russell who wants to be part of the group. Tweet us your name for luke @thecyclemsnbc using the #lukethecycle. The final name will be revealed LIVE Monday when Luke pulls up a chair.

The 'Cycle', a great show f/political enthusiasts, with one exception. SE Cupp. Ugh. It didn't take her long to start making her usual high school girl faces (inappropriate grinning when any GOP guests are speaking). The 'eye rolling' she can't stop doing is annoying, petulant and typical for her, constantly. Immature. The others are all bright, good thinking, clear and very well read on their topics, SE is just 'there' to be the right wing ugly mindset. Did I hear SE say that health care meant a 'tax over 2 Trillion dollars"? I heard that SAMe remark on Fox. (where she belongs, she's a 'plant for their talking points')
SE is about as 'grown up' as Meghan McCain, who recently whined about 'three against one', poor Meghan, boo hoo. Not sure why that bothered her, it's the standard at Faux News.
Go Cycle. At least we're not watching the Five, as the 'long leg of Kimberly G keeping the 'beat', being the focal point of the show, followed by Ms. Perrino, the wicked witch of the West, looking older every day. (not enough time to prep her formerly 'perfect look' I guess). Ditch SE, PLEASE! PLEASE! (She'll get mad and walk out one day and appear on Fox, next. Mark my words, she can't converse intelligently, she's 'out to lunch' and needs a few more years to 'grow up'.
This guy is the very definition of communist. He clearly does not understand how American government works. We have a (republic), government; it’s by the people, for the people. America is NOT supposed to be run by some corrupt elitist government officials telling the people what’s best for them. If we the people don’t want it,...then we the people expect our representative government to oblige us! Period! It's called LIBERTY you fool!
When I saw this clip, it literally made me sick. This kid needs to move to China so he can push his communist agenda there. I’m sure the Chinese would love his style.
But then again....that's why MSNBC stands for the Mao-Stalinist-Nation-Broadcasting Co. It's also why MSNBC's ratings are in the toilet compared to other conservative media broadcasters.
Toure`,
Always enjoy your insights and I'm glad you survived the passing of Dylan's show. But could you please lean over and tell Sarah Elizabeth to get over herself. She's not nearly as cute and smart as she obviously thinks she is, and her opinions are sophomoric. If you must have a conservative on the show, try to find one who can actually think for themselves rather then parroting talking points from Glen Beck's private reality. It is a sad commentary on our education system that she could attend a highly respected school and still be able to babble nonsense as if mere repetition could make them facts.
Not that progressive ideas don't need reality checks at times, all ideas do. But try to find a conservative who can state exactly what it is that they are trying to conserve, who understands the context in which our country and constitution was created, as well as our history, and will not hide behind bumper sticker slogans. A real challenge, I agree.
Keep up the good work. We need you and all others with such a public soapbox to hold all of our politicians' feet to the fire, to go past the press statements and find the truths they are trying to hide. Follow the money.
I tried watching since Dylan said goodbye but just cannot stomach the right wing fourth wheel on the show. Eye rolling, arrogance and the unnatural grinning is more then I can stand, if I wanted that garbage I would turn on Fox News.
I'm sorry Cycle', I tried.
I'm very much in agreement w/Krystal's politics, but today she repeated something worse than a cliche. It was an oft-repeated misstatement of a cliche. " I could care less" does not convey the true meaning of what the speaker usually intends when employing that expression. It should be "I couldn't care less". To say that you could care less means that you do care to some extent. $ into the jar, Krystal!
